Deborah’s love for horses began at an early age. At five years old she began learning how to ride at a sleep-away camp in North Georgia and has been dedicated to the sport ever since. Though she didn’t have as many opportunities to ride as a girl, she furthered her learning in any way she could through her position as a working student. In 2004, as an adult, she moved to Wellington, Florida and began training with top-notch trainers in the area to sharpen her skills. She also had her two children at the time, one of whom is also currently a dedicated rider. Upon moving back to Georgia in 2008, Deborah opened her first facility. In just a matter of four months she and her boarders had already out-grown it and moved to a new facility in Alpharetta and grew from there. In 2013, My Serenity Farms had grown enough to move out of their second facility and into a beautiful and roomy facility off of Birmingham Road where they are currently stationed.  Currently, Deborah furthers her riding ability by training with her current trainer three times a week and uses every bit of knowledge to further her own students’ abilities. She is a kind and firm trainer that loves to work with her kids and watch them prosper.
